Academic Divisions
Humanities
The Humanities division includes English and The Arts. The Arts classes include Art, various music programs, Dance, Ceramics, Theatre, Video & TV production, and Film Analysis. The Library is also included in the Humanities division.
International
The International division includes the Social Studies and the World Languages department. UHS offers courses in Spanish, French, and Chinese.
Careers
The Careers division includes the Career Technical Education departments. CTE pathways include Autoshop, Health Occupations, Business, Welding and Architecture & Engineering. The Career Center, ROP, internships, and the AVID program are also included in the Careers division.
STEM
The STEM division includes the Science and Math departments. Also included are STEM programs such as Digital Electronics, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Cyber Security and Architecture.
Special Programs
The Special Program division includes so much more than the Special Education department. The Special Programs division also includes Advanced Placement Classes which includes the AP Capstone Program, Distance Learning, Summer School, Independent Studies, the Homework Center, and an early college access program called UCollege.
Wellness
The Wellness division includes the Counseling Department and the Physical Education department. Also included is Student Services, the Wellness Center, and a freshmen support program called Link Crew.
