What is U-Time
As students go through their educational career, there are many things that can prevent one from learning all that is required before high school. At Upland High School we are going to use data driven systems of academic support to meet the needs of our diversity of learners in the most inclusive environment. Teachers will work in Professional Learning Communities using a variety of assessments, both formal and informal, to gather data which will inform them on which areas students may need more intensive support, in order to be college and career ready by graduation. U-Time is a 30 minute block of time, twice a week, that will be used to provide research-based intervention or enrichment strategies to ensure the best academic success for our students, without interrupting Core Classroom instruction.
