Career and Technical Education
Video Production Courses are UC Approved electives that provides instruction on visual design elements, production techniques, media analysis and video editing through cross-curricular, multi-modal instruction. Through the creation of various video projects, learners will become acquainted with camera use, editing software, production roles, storyboarding, filming techniques, basic computer skills, management, marketing and utilize various production related equipment. These courses fully integrate the Upland High School commitment to support the concepts of the six Cs that are: Communication, Collaboration, Citizenship, Critical Thinking, Creativity and Character Education.

What we've done
The video production programs at Upland High School have been involved in several community and campus providing media support for education and entertainment. As the eyes, ears, and mouth of the campus, the Advanced Video Production and Broadcasting courses provide students, staff and community with news and events that are happening on campus.
